Risa y Otani son la famosa pareja de la clase 2-1. Risa mide 1.70m y su nombre puede leerse como "Río Pequeño"; Otani no llega al 1.60m y su nombre puede traducirse como "Gran Valle". Siempre andan discutiendo el uno con el otro y por esa razón todo el instituto y más los de su clase los ven como un dúo humorístico.
